Introduction: Jody Birnberg
I live in Houston, Texas, moving from Highland Park, Illinois, after graduating college, in 1977, curious about what it would be like to live without snow. Well, I obviously liked it! I have 3 wonderful blessings, Leah age 33, an ex-pat living in Prague, The Czech Republic, Josh, 32 a professional Poker player, living in Oklahoma City, OK, and the “baby” Jordan, a financial advisor, living with his delightful girlfriend, Maddie, in Miami Florida. I fell in love at age 16- with Spanish, as memorizing was my self-invented learning strategy for this undiagnosed ADHD’er. I did not get diagnosed until I was 50 years old.
I learn from my kids and I look forward to more intergenerational learning, getting to know fellow class members-nd becoming secure in my offer to the world.

Hi Jody, nice to meet you. I’m from Australia. I went to Houston a couple of years ago … spent only a day there unfortunately, as I was on my way to volunteer in Coastal Bend TX with All Hands and Hearts who rebuild schools in disaster struck areas around the world. Your ADHD must have been an amazing discovery at 50 … how are you coping with it now that you know?
