Hello from Aiesha
I am Aiesha Turman and I live in Brooklyn, NY. I am originally from the state capital, Albany, then we moved across the state to Rochester. I used to come to the Big Apple a lot as a kid and moved here at 19 on my own. I am a mama, first. However, my job is college professor. I have am interdisciplinary doctoral degree that combines history and literature, among other things. I teaching both English and Africana Studies departments. I also lead community literature workshops, am a Reiki Master teacher, and few other things.
The problems I see in the world are so many, but they all stem from disconnection, isolation, and lies. We have been acculturated into a system that perpetuates a false narrative and even those of us who benefit in some aspects are trapped.
My superpowers are…I am an excellent teacher and facilitator. I can connect dots that others miss. I am very creative.
