Interesting read – As we discussed in the third week of the Soul of Technology, Trusting the Seeds with Technology, innovation including AI is the outpicturing of the collective impulse towards evolution. Therefore, technology is positioned to exhibit shadow and light qualities as long as the polarity remains in the collective unconscious. A pivotal more esoteric view of the nature of the developing soul is it ability to create without limit within the safety net of the sandbox we refer to as the material world of planet earth. I believe the fundamental question is drawing the distinction between living life from inside out versus outside in. The human soul is ever connected to the divine source the powers it and enables the functioning of the thinking and feeling faculties. On the other hand any human creation is connected to the external world powered by some electrical and large data networks. The attribution of personhood and true soulful qualities to a machine, in my opinion is an illusion. Just as a piece of paper cannot claim to be a tree thought it may be derived from one. Furthermore, a manual for life of the soul would serve to clarify that external world is not be a teacher for growth towards Godhood.

That said, as we progress along technological developmental line, to manipulate the etheric dimension, the blueprint of the material world which contain the primal energies of creation will be without doubt at some point in human evolution a manifestation. As the human soul matures and consciously unities with it sources, the shadow unconscious elements the creates the discorded energies will be dissolved by the light of awareness of what isn’t serving the greater good of all things living. At that point in time, all human innovations will stream from an clean mind and a pure heart. AI is the outward manifestation of the inner urge to create like the Creator as such its intention is very much positive – I posit.

Trusting the seeds with technology calls for the awakening to the reality that the power to create experience is within the interior castle of the living soul and all experiences are not but self experiencing the self. Therefore, the level of consciousness depicts the individuals identity as one with the Source of illumination of the mind. This, I believe is the determining factors as to the appropriate application of innovation towards spiritual maturity, unfoldment and the birth of Source qualities beyond the soul in the lower material dimensions of self exploration, expression and experiencing.

Thank you, @peterluxruel – the article in parts emanates more from a religious context, and I sense that you represent more of a spiritual understanding- meaning to access a soulful understanding to advance personally in raising one’s consciousness-it requires personal desire and effort.

As you wrote “A pivotal more esoteric view of the nature of the developing soul is it ability to create without limit within the safety net of the sandbox we refer to as the material world of planet earth. My response: And one would think that the mind and emotions would be “all in” for this pursuit. From my learning I have been led to see how my MIND and EGO are not so interested in the SOUL taking the lead. And the SOUL, is waiting patiently for us to surrender and allow the MIND and EGO to get out of the driver’s seat and allow the SOUL to drive forward and upward. Once that happens, the MIND, EGO and personality begin to collaborate and get out of the way- but it’s not easy and most are not willing or ready to orchestrate this more evolved collaboration.

It’s a journey and it has many cycles- the mind is always seeming to trick us into getting it back into the driver’s seat and that is what in some cases takes many lifetimes to become more and more humble and ask for help…beyond this world.

Learning how to interact with and use AI is important for all who use technology to get comfortable with.

Learning to trust technology takes time, experience with the specific technology before one “knows” the likely outcome of what will happen in changing situations. I do not trust self driving cars yet. Maybe one day.

The premise of religion has built in belief bias, the nature of a belief system. With strong beliefs often comes judgement of what is acceptable of not. I have evolved to a place of what is best for the individual is fine as long as that person is not hurting others via their choices. To each their own.

Yes, machines, AI shape our perceptions in ways we may not understand in the moment as we are being manipulated by the algorithm. I go back to Parker’s comments in the last class about each of us being responsible for our views, our actions. To be in control. To not allow a machine, an algorithm to take over thinking for ourselves.

There is bias in all content. Each person has a particular pov, shaped by their life experiences. Make life interesting indeed. Understanding a person’s background helps to understand their particular reasons for the bias they exhibit when expressing themselves.

I think the article drones on… Just my pov… Good food for thought.
